Caddy Lite

A Caddy Lite is a device that makes use of GPS technology to inform you about the distance you have to cover on every hole. There are several hazards that you can encounter while you are on a golf course and you can avoid them by using this GPS enabled device. It can be operated hands free and is very accurate when it comes to providing the measurements you require. The device measures 2cm x 12cm x 5.5 cm.

It is capable of storing information about 10 golf courses and can be switched on when you get to the golf course. Once you choose the course that you will be playing in, you will not have to set it again. This means that you will not interrupt your game while using the Caddy Lite because it automatically detects the hole you are on and the distance required.

The software application that is used on the Caddy Lite is very easy to use and install. You can easily set up your own personal preferences into the device including your gender. You can choose to have the measurements provided in metres or yards.

To use the Caddy Lite, on a specific course, you should load a Caddy Lite map on it. This is very important because it provides reference points that represent some key points in the hole, and the back, centre and front part of the course. It will also provide you with information about the distance of the nearest hazards on the course.

When you buy your Caddy Lite, you can register to get maps of your choice. If the course you are playing on is not included in the 10 maps in the Caddy Lite, you can easily download it using your computer at a cost. Once you have downloaded it, you will be able to use the map when you switch on the device.

The Caddy Lite comes with a large numeric keypad that makes it very easy for you to see the measurements of the distance you need to cover. You can charge your Caddy Lite through a USB and it will take about four hours before it gets fully charged. When it is fully charged, you can use the Caddy Lite for about 15 hours.

Caddy Lites are usually available in various colors including pink, red, blue and black. You can also get a personalized one in a color to suit your team color.
