Easy Steps to Follow for Company Formation

If you do not want to spend too much money on company formation, there are some simple steps that you can follow. The first thing that you need to do is create a certificate of incorporation. There are various sites on the internet that you can use to download an incorporation form. One of the things that you need to include in the form is the name of the organization that you want to form. It is important to note that you cannot use any name for the organization. The name that you use has to include the words; Corporation, Incorporation or Limited and it should be distinguished from other company names. To ensure that the name that you pick is not already being used by another company, you can check the list of organization names from your local directory.

You should also consider the corporation law in the area that you are opening your business in. This will allow you to know if the activities you are involved in are legal or not. This should be done before the company registration process begins.

It is also important for you to include your address which is used to send your official documents. Once you have filled in the incorporation form, you should file it with the local department. The local department will send you a certificate once the filing is complete.

Once you have the certificate, hold a business meeting to elect directors and adopt the by-laws that the organization needs to follow. Shares also need to be issued after the organization has been formed. The number of shares that you issue should be authorized in the incorporation certificate.
