Gymboss Interval

Working out at the gym can be enjoyable since a gym will have most of the equipment needed for a proper work out. But you can also get your own fitness equipment for home use and still be able to exercise well. Purchasing fitness equipment can be difficult but with almost everything going online, you can be sure to get some tips on how to go about it after searching the web. Physical fitness is necessary, not only to lose fats but to keep yourself healthy as well.

Interval training is the kind of training where you set intervals using a timer so that after the end of an interval, you rest or perform an activity. The gymboss trainer is a tool that you use to time your intervals and comes in handy since it has an alarm that alerts you when you need to change intervals. It has time periods set on it where you set the time interval you would like to work with. Most of them start from 2 seconds up to 60 or 99 minutes.

A gymboss interval is the length of time you have set between one activity and the next, that is, between the rest period and the active period. The gymboss interval is set in such a way that it repeats itself interval after interval for as long as you would like.

You can use interval training when jogging and running, or cycling whereby you run during the fast interval and start jogging during the slow gymboss interval. While cycling also you can cycle at high speed during the fast interval and reduce speed during the slow interval.

When setting the gymboss interval, you have to decide how intense the activity will be, the time you will take to be active and the time you will take during the slow periods as well as the number of times you would like the intervals to repeat themselves before you are through with your workout session.

The gymboss is both convenient and useful since it helps you avoid looking at the clock every time to confirm the end of an interval. Instead the equipment will alert you at the end of each gymboss interval so you won’t get distracted from what you are doing. And you can always set the intervals according to what type of person you are and the type of training you want.
